Hi, welcome on RED Radio Event Discovery and today we are counting down our picks for the top 5 worst events created in the world. In this list we will going over the various events that turned into a disaster, or that were cancelled at the last minute. I hope you’re ready: let's go!

Jingle 5th place

In fifth position, we find the 2005’s edition of the famous UK music festival Glastonbury. This particular year, the area suffered from unprecedented floods. Hundreds of festival-goers tents found themselves submerged in the flooding of streams near the Festival site. Here are some pictures:

Jingle 4th place

In fourth position, we find the "Bloc" festival, which was supposed to take place in London in 2012. The musical event was taking place on a boat in the London Docks. A large audience queued up to attend the first concert on the docks for more than 3 hours to get onboard. However, after this long wait and a chaotic entrance check-in, the headliner of the festival (Snoop Dogg) announced that he was cancelling his performance. The Festival organizers subsequently announced that the festival was cancelled all together! We can all imagine the anger and disappointment of the crowd.

Jingle 3rd place

In third position is the 1999 Woodstock Festival which ended in flames and destruction. Due to the neglected organization of the festival and the high price of food and water on the site, the festival quickly degenerated. In addition, when the band Insane Clown Posse came on stage, the artists threw $ 100 bills at the crowd, creating riots and fights. Then, the band Limp Bizkit took over by singing their song tittled "Break Stuff». Taking them at their words, the festival-goers started lighting fires of joy! Here are some images

Jingle 2nd place

In second position, we find the Vestiville event, the organizers promised a gigantic festival, installed stages, infrastructures but forgot one of the most essential: a security system. On the day of the event, nobody was there to welcome the festival-goers, in the queue giving access to the concert space, festival-goers received a notification on Twitter saying that the Mayor of Lommel, where the event was located has cancelled the festival due to a lack of security, leaving all the infrastructure at the mercy of festival-goers. Here are some pictures:

Jingle 1st place

And we find at the top of the podium, the Fyre Festival! This fraudulent festival which was allegedly taking place in the Bahamas but on the day of the Festival everything that was promised was not there. All the communication was false like the luxury villas for the festival-goers, a festival on Pablo Escobar's private island, and many other promises. Here are some pictures:
